If you are looking for a more natural cleaning product, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day is fantastic. Amazon has a 6 pack of the counter solution for only $17.70 when you sign up for subscribe and save. There is no commitment with subscribe and save. You can set a time frame anywhere from 1 month – 6 months where the product will be redelivered, however, I have purchased products before on subscribe and save and turned right around and unsubscribed immediately afterwards so you aren’t locked in at all.
Amazon’s prices change quickly so be sure and move quickly on this one.

I gave up shopping in physical stores for holiday gifts years ago. You can get much better deals online and don’t have to mess with any of the crowds. Right now you can get this adorable Melissa & Doug Safari Floor Puzzle for only $3.88. This is not eligible for free super saver shipping so you do have an additional $1.99 in shipping making your total $5.87 but that’s still a great price. Stock up on a few extra. These would be great to have on hand for birthday gifts throughout the year.

I’ve been slowly working my way through all the advice on The Diet Solution (highly recommend it by the way) and coconut oil is advised as a better choice, even over olive oil for most cooking situations. Amazon has Nutiva organic coconut oil on sale right now for $13.74 for a 2 pack and the price drops down to $11.68 for 2 with free shipping if you sign up for their subscription service. You can cancel the subscription service at any time.
I did this deal last time it was offered and have been very happy with the quality of the coconut oil (You should try cooking pancakes in coconut oil. You’ll never go back). I canceled my subscription within a few days of signing up for it so I didn’t get any surprise packages but I was very happy with the transaction as a whole. It was easy and much cheaper than I’ve seen coconut oil for in the store.

I’m ridiculously cheap when it comes to going to the movie theatre so I pretty much only go when I can get in for free. I splurged for Toy Story 3 but other than that I haven’t paid to go to the movies all year. Amazon.com has a great deal going on right now. Buy any of these DVD’s between July 6, 2010 and September 6, 2010 and receive a promotional code which you can redeem for a certificate valid for $10 admission to see the movie Eat Pray Love,Salt, or The Other Guys between July 6, 2010 and October 9, 2010 at participating theaters.

Amazon has the Playskool Musical Sit N Spin on sale for only $10.20 (you’ve got to love Amazon’s pricing) right now, which is a great deal. You may want to take advantage of this even if your kids are a bit older because it would make a fabulous and frugal birthday gift for someone.

Composting has been on green to-do list for a long time. One of these days I’m going to get around to actually doing it. This stainless steel compost keeper is a great deal right now on Amazon. At only $26.11 (where DO they come up with these prices) it’s nearly half off. This looks like a great tool to store your compost in without stinking up your kitchen. If composting has been on your to-do list too you’ll want to grab this great deal before the price goes up.

Gardening is one of the most frugal hobbies you can have, especially if you freeze or preserve the food you grow in your garden. I don’t really have a green thumb but I did have one summer that gave me a good batch of green beans. I loved being able to just walk out to the garden and pick fresh produce for dinner.
Amazon.com has a great deal on a set of Fiskars garden tools. This 3-piece set is only $9.99 and is eligible for free shipping on orders of $25 or more. I always have amazon credit thanks to Swagbucks (If you haven’t signed up yet you’ll want to. It’s free and you can earn Amazon.com gift cards just for using their search engine). This would make a great gift or give you a frugal start to your garden this year.
