I’m terrified of the day my kids get behind the wheel of a car. I started driving the day I turned 16 and if my parents knew half of the things I did while I was driving they would be shocked. Looking back, honestly I’m a little shocked that I survived my teens. I had the chance to practice some defensive driving moves of my own at the Lexus Family Safety Camp and discovered that it’s never too late to learn some new driving tricks. While I was at the event, I learned of a great program offered by Toyota to help give teens the best start they can get before getting behind the wheel of a car.
The Toyota Driving Expectations classes are a FREE 4-hour defensive driving program designed for teens and their parents. This is an educational, non-sales event, that includes multiple driving courses and classroom instruction. “Toyota Driving Expectations is designed to go beyond basic drivers training, providing teens and their parents with knowledge and experience to increase safe driving practices.” – Toyota
Class will be held at the Toyota Headquarters in Torrance, CA on the following dates:
July 11-12
August 8-9
19001 S. Western Avenue
Torrance, CA 90501
