Between allergies and colds, my family has been sick for well over a month now. Whenever we start to get sick we pull out the Emergen-C because it’s easy for the kids to take (they make a kids version with great flavors). Right now if you “like” Emergen-C on Facebook you can sign up to get a free sample.
You can click on their “Share the Good” tab to send free samples to your friends on Facebook too. What a fun way to send out samples!

I’m a big fan of Kashi products and I always feel better reaching for one of their products when I want to snack than some of my usual standbys. Kashi wants to give you the opportunity to trade in one of your not-so-healthy snack choices for one of their healthier versions. All you have to do is click on an image of one of your unhealthy snack of choice (you can even skip that if you want and go straight to the free sample page) and then you can pick from your choice of one of the three:
- TLC Ripe Strawberry Cereal Bar
- TLC Chewy Granola Trail Mix Bar
- TLC Original 7 Grain Crackers

We try and buy mostly organic, minimally processed foods in our family because we have one son with a chronic medical condition and one with an allergy to food coloring and preservatives. There’s very few brands that I can allow all my kids to eat. I’ve tried the Amy’s Kitchen Organic Pizza before and been pretty impressed. They are offering a free coupon book and recipe book right now if you like both the Amy’s Kitchen and Lundberg Farms Facebook pages then vote in their Facebook poll.
To get your free coupon/recipe book:
Go to the Amy’s Kitchen Facebook page, Click “like”, then click on the “poll” tab and vote.
Go to the Lundberg Farms Facebook page, Click “like”, then click on the “poll” tab and vote.
After you have done that, you can go here to sign up for your free coupon/recipe book.

I was shocked at what a difference switching to energy efficient bulbs made in our monthly electricity bill when we swapped ours out a few years ago. Now that we have moved, we’re slowly working on replacing the bulbs in our new home. The Free Lightbulb Initiative wants to help you get started by providing you with 2 free compact fluorescent (CFL) lightbults. Shipping is included so you don’t have to pay anything out of pocket for this frugal deal and you’ll save money on your electricity bill as well.

My kids are nuts about recycling so Earth Day is seriously one of their favorite holidays. I was thrilled to see this great offer for a free Recycling Crafts eBook because my 6 year old son is always asking to recycle bits of trash and turn them into something else. Since I’m not a fan of my son having a trash collection, I usually have to talk him into just throwing it away but he would be thrilled if I gave him some greener options, especially if it involved a craft.

We are still in the process of unpacking after our move from Utah to Carlsbad, CA and I haven’t had time yet to stock up on some of the basics. I was thrilled to see this great coupon deal. Scotch-Brite has a PDF coupon (so you can print as many as you want) for $1.00 off any one Scotch-Brite product. Since Walmart currently has packages of sponges on sale for $0.84 this makes this a great unlimited freebie!
Make sure and print this coupon now because it may not be available for long.
Thanks Moms by Heart!
