I love all the daily deal sites for getting some really fabulous local deals. Today only, you can get $5 Ice Skating Admission and Skate Rental to the San Diego Ice Arena. This would be a really fun way to cool down during a hot summer day. You do not have to use the ticket today you just have to pay for it today. Great deal!

My almost 7 year old has been begging to go see The Sorcerer’s Apprentice in the movie theatres. We don’t go to the movie theatre often because with 3 kids, the price adds up pretty fast. We love the free movie previews put on by the San Diego Children’s Film Festival. If you join their mailing list you can receive notification when they have tickets available to a new preview. We did this for The Last Airbender and it was a blast although I’d recommend getting there at least an hour early to make sure you get a seat.
