Jack in the Box is giving away 2 free tacos on Tuesday 11/16 after 2:00 pm. My kids can eat half a dozen tacos each in a sitting so this will be more like a snack for them but this is a great free deal.

Earlier this summer I heard that the Surf Bowl in Oceanside was offering free bowling to students but things got busy and I never made it over there to check it out. I emailed them and was told that yes, they are in fact giving free bowling passes away for the summer. All school aged children who live in North County San Diego can get a pass good for a free game of bowling and shoe rental for every day of summer break. The summer is sneaking away from us but I’m going to have to make it over there because that’s a great deal.

I love Mimi’s Cafe and their carrot muffins are my absolute favorite. I’ve been trying to perfect a knock off recipe for their carrot muffins for a while so I can enjoy them at home, but so far, no luck.
