I’ve been slowly working my way through all the advice on The Diet Solution (highly recommend it by the way) and coconut oil is advised as a better choice, even over olive oil for most cooking situations. Amazon has Nutiva organic coconut oil on sale right now for $13.74 for a 2 pack and the price drops down to $11.68 for 2 with free shipping if you sign up for their subscription service. You can cancel the subscription service at any time.
I did this deal last time it was offered and have been very happy with the quality of the coconut oil (You should try cooking pancakes in coconut oil. You’ll never go back). I canceled my subscription within a few days of signing up for it so I didn’t get any surprise packages but I was very happy with the transaction as a whole. It was easy and much cheaper than I’ve seen coconut oil for in the store.

Coupons.com has refreshed with September Coupons. I’m going to get myself into trouble with those Pillsbury Sweet Rewards coupons but I’m printing them anyway. Some of the best coupons disappeared fairly quickly last month so if you see any coupons that you know you’ll want to use be sure and print them early.

Walgreens is my favorite place for getting great deals on non-food items (although every once in a while I get a steal on groceries there as well). I haven’t been to Walgreens in several weeks, which is rare for me, because I realized that I had more shampoo than my entire family could use in a year. I like to keep a year’s supply of everything we use around but when I start to get more than that, it moves from stockpiling into hoarding.

Composting has been on green to-do list for a long time. One of these days I’m going to get around to actually doing it. This stainless steel compost keeper is a great deal right now on Amazon.
