Father’s Day Freebies

by Rachel on June 18, 2010

There are several companies offering freebies for Father’s day. Dad’s are the only ones eligible to get a freebie but you could have a fun family outing by going on a freebie food tour if dad is willing to share. Think of it as a city taste testing tour for free.

Free Food For Father’s Day

TCBY is giving dads a free cup or cone of frozen yogurt on Father’s Day. No purchase is necessary. Find a location near you.

Dennys will give you a free ice-cream float to share with your dad if you use their card maker to create a Father’s Day card.

Medieval Times is a fun night out for the whole family. Kids can eat chicken with their hands – which we know they do anyway, but here it’s not bad manners. They are offering free “dinner and a tournament” June 18-20, 2010 with one full-price adult admission. Use code DFWEB10.

Ikea will give dad a small breakfast and coffee for free on Father’s Day – although I have to warn you – trips to Ikea are never free for us.

Get a free Aussie-Tizer from Outback Steakhouse by becoming a member of Outback Rewards.

Frugal Father’s Day Gifts

Get a free 8 x 10 collage photo for Dad from Walgreens if you order by Saturday, June 19, 2010. Use coupon code GOBIG8X10. This offer is available online only and is available one per person. It’s not valid on 8 x 10 regular prints, magazine covers, or scrapbook pages.

Follow @AmazonVideo on Twitter and get a code worth $10 for video on demand

If you need a frugal Father’s Day gift idea, download this free Father’s Day coupon book from http://beautyandbedlam.com/ or this Father’s Day Coupon Book from Lettering Delights.

Sears has a fantastic rebate offer available for Father’s Day. If you spend $50 on men’s apparel you’ll receive a $50 cash back coupon to spend another time.

Free Father’s Day Activities for Southern California

Dads get free admission to The San Diego Natural History Museum on Father’s Day, June 20 with the purchase of a paid child admission ages 3 and up. Museum visitors can also take 10% off any Father’s Day gifts purchased in the Museum Store.

The Orange County Regional History Center is offering free admission for dads on Father’s Day. The museum is open noon-5 p.m.

Dads get into the Fleet Science Center for free on Saturday, June 19 or Sunday, June 20 with the purchase of one full-price gallery admission ticket, on the same day. An IMAX® film can be added on for just $4.50/adult and $3/child/senior. Paid admission may be Adult, Junior or Senior.

Take Dad to the San Diego Fair and enjoy  Pancakes in the Paddock to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts from 9:00-11:00AM. Pancake breakfast including Buttermilk Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Hickory Smoked Bacon, Country Fried Potatoes and Fresh Orange Juice. This does cost $13 but it includes admission to the fair for the day.
