Vons has some great deals this week, although Albertsons is a close second so I may have to hit two stores before the sales change over on Wednesday. There are several food items that pretty much only go on sale this time of year so even if you are fairly well stocked, you may want to buy some extra so you have enough to last until next winter.

Southern California Grocery Deals – Vons 8/22-8/28

I’ve been stocking up on snacks for school lunches for the last few weeks at Vons. They double coupons up to a value of $1 so when they have a good sale going on they can really help you get the most out of your coupons.

Ask for a Muscular Distrophy coupon book at the front of the store to get some great extra coupons. I bought Silk Pure Almond and a coupon for free Blue Diamond almond milk printed out so if you have any of the silk coupons from a few weeks ago it’s worth buying as well.
